In our second episode we skip ahead over twenty years to see how we go from Secrets to… Civils? In our first editorially-mandated movie tie-in, we cover all seven issues of the Civil War mini-series (plus a dramatic reading of a certain page from Civil War: Frontline…). Listen as we discuss Cap’s melty face, Miriam Sharpe’s mutant powers, and our greatest and closest friend, Bill Foster.

Yes, we knew that story was coming when we did it. And, in fact, it was supposed to happen right afterwards, but delays slowed everything down a bit.

Aren’t Tumblrs fun?
Welcome to Event Fatigue! This is a podcast hosted by Matt Ryan, Cody Coleman, Nikki Wright, Brook Metzler, and Amber Leigh wherein we discuss various comic book events - we’ll summarize them, give background info, and then review them in a sort of loose, book club format.
With this podcast being based so much around imagery, I wanted a place where we could easily share images from the books we’re talking about along with the show notes from each episode. Hence: this Tumblr! Be sure to listen to the show, wherein links will be available to the website as soon as they’re up!
Thanks for giving us a shot! We love comics! We know you’re tired of events, so let us take the load for you. That’s what we’re here for.
